Yavelo is built around a principle of minimal data collection. We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the service, and we retain that data for only as long as needed.
For free public numbers: We do not require any account or personal information. We collect standard server logs (IP addresses, timestamps, browser type) for security and service operation purposes. These logs are retained for 30 days.
For paid accounts: We collect your email address, name, and payment information through our payment processor. Payment details are never stored on our servers.
Messages received on any Yavelo number are stored only as long as needed to display them in the inbox. Messages on free public numbers are automatically deleted after 7 days. Messages on private paid numbers are retained for 30 days unless you delete them sooner.
We do not read, analyze, or share the content of SMS messages. We do not create backups of message content. Once deleted, messages cannot be recovered.
We use only essential cookies required for the service to function. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
We may disclose user information when required by law. Because we collect minimal data by design, our ability to comply with such requests is limited to what we actually store.
You have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, request its deletion, and object to its processing.
For privacy questions or requests, please email privacy@yavelo.com or use our contact form.
